A simple educational kit with silicon solar cell encapsulated in a plastic housing converts sunlight (or bright artificial light) into electrical energy to drive a small motor. Ideal for classroom activities.
Kit includes:
- Solar cell module
- Wiring with motor clips, nuts and screws.
- DC motor
- 4 different sized plastic spinner bases to fit to the motor
- Patterned discs and cut-out paper aeroplane and bird models to attach to the spinner bases
- Plastic fan blades
- Informative booklet about solar energy
With this kit of accessories, children can perform a series of do-it-yourself experiments teaching them some simple concepts of solar power.
Not suitable for under 3s due to small parts.
