Rigid Solar Panels

Photovoltaic solar panels with a rigid aluminium frame and a glass front are the best known and most widely used format. Our rigid pv solar panels are available for on-grid and off-grid applications in polycrystalline or monocrystalline technologies. We supply solar panels from all the main manufacturers such as Sharp, Canadian Solar, JA Solar and Yingli, and we are proud to be distributors for ICP and Inprosolar. At higher wattages (250W or more) and voltages these panels are typically used for grid connected building applications, but can be used for off grid applications using an MPPT charge controller.

In the mid-low wattage range (up to 150W or so), rigid solar panels are widely used for leisure and professional applications involving 12 volt battery charging. Typical off-grid applications include repeater stations, electric fencing, remote monitoring and tracking systems.
